How long have you been doing photography?

I first picked up a camera when I was in middle school with the love of photos as my guide. I don’t really count that time because lets be real, nobody would’ve wanted those photos, haha! However, in high school, I started a business doing affordable photos for seniors, families, and couples in the area. That was a little over 10 years ago !

How long until we see our photos?

It really depends on how busy I am during that season but I like to say between 1-2 weeks for most sessions and 3-4 weeks for larger events.

I feel like I’m super awkward, how does the posing process work?

Everyone gets a little camera shy at first but I promise, we will warm up together! I come prepared with references to help posing go as smoothly as possible, a lot of them coming from that consult we do in the beginning! I’m here to support you and make you comfortable during our time together! If you need help with posing, outfit planning, or location scouting- I’m here to help!

How do I book a session with you?

Well first, you’ll need to book a consult with me - 10-15 or 30 minutes, depending on what kind of session you’re wanting. This is where we will discuss what you want, the services I can provide, and create any idea boards we need for the session! You can book that - and any future sessions- on our scheduling page!

How far out do you book?

I book out as far as needed! I’m generally available on weekends but with enough time - we can try and make anything work!

How much will a session cost?

I want to be up front and honest about all of my services and what you will get out of them. All of my services and their prices are listed on my “Services” page. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, send me an email and we can discuss all of your hopes and dreams!

How do I pay you?

Well that one is easy - with money! But seriously, I accept various forms of payment, including online invoicing and in-person.

What should I expect after I officially book my session?

We will schedule a 10-15 minute consult to discuss location, time, and the overall “vibe” of your photo session, as well as your preferred payment methods, any special requests and any questions you may have. In order to book your photo session, I do require an upfront non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. The deposit is 25% for most sessions and 50% for larger events and weddings.

What is your cancellation policy?

In order to book your photo session, I do require an upfront, non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. The deposit is 25% for most sessions and 50% for larger events and weddings. This is to ensure that both of us have security and know that time is respected. If you have an emergency and need to reschedule, you may do so up to 48 hours ahead of time with no additional fees. If you need to reschedule with less than 48 hours before your appointment, you will be required to pay a fee to reschedule your appointment. If you n0-show your appointment or cancel the day of, you forfeit your deposit. Due to the nature of photography being a freelance job, we operate on a “two strike” policy. If you no show/cancel the day of, you have one strike on your account. After two strikes, you will not be able to book with us. If the photoshoot is cancelled due to the photographer, artist, or inclement weather - you will be able to reschedule without any penalty fees or strikes on your account.

What if I have a consult and we decide our styles don’t match?

That is absolutely okay! That’s why I want to do a consult with my clients in the first place. If my style isn’t your vibe, I have a list of other photographers in the area that may suit your needs better! I hope that we mesh well, but sometimes the puzzle pieces just don’t match up! No harm, no foul.
